The new Masjid Shaykh Muhammad Deedat

Ummah Welfare Trust has completed the construction of Masjid Shaykh Muhammad Deedat in Namilongo, rural Malawi (watch the video above).

Alhamdulillah, the Masjid was built under the instruction of Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Sahib and the family of Shaykh Muhammad Deedat for his Isaale Thawab.

Shaykh Muhammad Deedat Rahimahullah was a librarian in Darul Uloom Bury. His knowledge was attested to by the likes of Shaykh Yunus Jawnpuri, Mufti Taqi Usmani and other luminaries. He passed away in January last year (click here to read more about his life).

We ask Allah to make this masjid a means of reward for him and we thank his family, friends, students and associates for partaking in this Sadaqah Jariyah project.
