Amanat Charity Trust T.A. Ummah Welfare Trust is a registered Charity Trust based at 578-600, St Helens Road, Bolton. BL3 4FU. UWT came into existence as an international non-governmental & non-political charity organisation in 1990, with an aim to help the community with general charitable activities. UWT started implementing emergency relief projects initially; thereafter, with the support of donors, UWT achieved phenomenal growth and has implemented thousands of development and humanitarian projects all across the globe. Until now, we have benefited more than 42 million individuals with projects in thematic areas of Education, Healthcare, Livelihood, WASH, Shelter and Emergency relief without discriminating on the basis of caste, creed, colour, culture, religion or ethnicity.
UWT strictly adheres to laws, rules and regulations of all relevant regulatory bodies, institutions and ministries of the Government of United Kingdom and also relevant laws of its countries of operation. As we are a registered Charity (Registration No. 1000851), we ensure compliance with Charity Commission’s rules and guidance as well as those of Financial Action Task Force (FATF), HM Treasury, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), ICO and Bank of England. We follow stringent anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism policies & procedures (reviewed and updated annually) and make sure our partner organisations do the same.
