Heavy monsoon rains have caused devastating flash floods across Pakistan’s north western regions.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) district of Buner has been particularly devastated, with more than 300 lives already confirmed lost.
The floodwaters carried tons of boulders and rocks, decimating villages and infrastructure along their path. Thousands of acres of standing crops have been destroyed, leaving countless villages without food, clean water, or shelter.

griefs of the Day of Judgment.’ (Muslim)

Ummah Welfare Trust has launched an emergency appeal to help our brothers and sisters survive the disaster. Charity staff are already on the front lines, delivering cooked meals, clean water, and rations to families who have lost everything.
