The Worst Season for Struggling Families
Millions across the Ummah remain terrified at the prospect of winter this year. The biting winds and cold will see living costs spiral and their poverty worsen.
It costs more to survive in the winter. Higher fuel costs and no protection against the cold will stretch many families across the Ummah to breaking point. The outcome, especially for the young and old, could be devastating.

A Time to Bring Warmth
Ummah Welfare Trust wants to bring warmth to thousands of families across the Ummah this year, ensuring they have enough protection for the cold months ahead.
Your generous donation can make a significant difference:
Provides a family with essential winter items such as blankets, warm clothing, and heating fuel.
Supplies a large emergency pack with additional items to ensure families have protection from the cold.
Though we cannot stop the cold, we can help needy families and their children stay warm. Winter packs will be distributed to impoverished families in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Albania, Iraq, and Syria.
Winter in some of these countries can bring sub-zero temperatures and even snow. Families, many of whom are displaced, may have little or no protection against this. It is therefore up to us to respond.
‘Whoever wants his supplications answered and difficulties removed, then let him relieve the one in hardship.’ [Ahmad]

No Child Should Die from the Cold
Despite not being seen as an emergency, more people die in winter than during any other season. These deaths are entirely preventable.
Your support can help prevent such tragedies. By providing warmth and essential supplies, we can ensure that our brothers and sisters survive the cold months ahead.
Donate this winter to save lives.
