Ummah Welfare Trust, a UK-based international relief and development charity founded in 2001, fights poverty and suffering around the world. Inspired by Islamic teachings of empathy, generosity, and selflessness, we deliver vital humanitarian aid, drive sustainable development, and provide emergency relief to those in need.
Ummah Welfare Trust upholds the rights of the neglected and oppressed by providing sustainable development solutions in shelter, education, healthcare, and spiritual well-being, ensuring long-term support and empowerment.

Ummah Welfare Trust achieves this mission through a range of sustainable humanitarian efforts, including:
Delivering food and medical aid to victims of conflict and natural disasters.
Constructing tube wells, hand pumps, and water trucking to provide water in needy areas.
Establishing medical and rehabilitation clinics, with a focus on women and children.
Delivering income generation projects for community self-sufficiency.
Reconstructing and maintaining homes, masjids, orphanages, and schools.
Ensuring the rights and well-being of vulnerable families.

Ummah Welfare Trust works under the guidance of scholars who ensure that the charity’s role as a trustee is always fulfilled. Knowing that we are all ultimately accountable to the Almighty, the charity strives to maintain transparency and accountability.
All donated funds are monitored and reviewed by scholars who ensure Zakah, Sadaqah and Lillah funds are spent correctly.
The charity also has a full and transparent audit trail from the donor to the beneficiary.
